Wellington, Texas Church of the Nazarene was formed in 1911, only three years after the denomination was established in 1908. The original building was located in the southeast area of the city and the congregation outgrew that facility. In 1923, the current building was completed. Additionally, property for a parsonage was also purchased where a house was constructed a number of years later.
Our current facility has undergone several renovations through the years in order to expand and improve our ability to serve the Wellington congregation, the community, and surrounding area. As our congregation grows and changes, we will continue to renovate, improve, and even expand our facilities, as needed and as the Lord directs and provides, to serve our congregation and community more effectively.
